Poets Dina Elenbogen and Pamela Wax will read from their most recent poetry collections as well as new work! Their reading will be followed by a Q&A about their work and poetry in general. There will be a book signing following the event. Dina's collection, Shore, was described by poet Faisal Moyhuddin as follows: "... bearing witness both to the suffering in our world, but also to the healing power of family, faith, community, nature, and most profoundly, words." Both humorous and poignant, the poems in Pamela Wax's Every Single Beast of my Heart weaves themes of aging, grief, mortality, and morality into a meditation on impermanence and meaning-making.
